I am a retired college administrator living on Cape Cod in Massachusetts. I enjoy the outdoors. I am happiest on a hike in the woods or at the beach. I also love to cycle, paddle and swim. My interest in poetry started in high school and I wrote throughout college. I stopped writing for many years and started again when I retired. I take poetry courses and read poetry voraciously. I belong to a poetry writing group . I am still at the beginning of my writing journey.

I love the power of language to evoke feelings and thoughts. I have been writing daily and the opportunity to express myself in this way has helped me through many difficult times and given me a vehicle to express my gratitude for the joyous times.
